Falken Tires joins in the action at Red Bull Car Park Drift in Morocco

The Red Bull Car Park Drift action moved to Morocco on October 8 and we were excited to share in the day with motoring enthusiasts, as well as three lucky winners of our Facebook competition, who were treated to a VIP event experience.

Taking place for the first time in Morocco, and organised under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Motor Sport, the on course action was packed with plenty of impressive motoring maneouvres, which the 3,000-strong crowd cheered enthusiastically over.

Legendary Lebanese drifter and record-breaker, Abdo Feghali, brought some star power to the event, and we gave one lucky winner the chance of an unforgettable co-pilot drive with him. As well as thrilling motoring fans by showcasing his own driving prowess, Abdo also played a pivotal role in laying out the challenging track for the event.

Twelve drivers participated in the Moroccan leg of the Red Bull Car Park Drift with Zaki Lafquiri claiming top spot, followed by Abdelatif Ait Mansour and Mohammed Amine Touzani in second and third respectively.

Our Falken Tires’ booth took centre stage away from the track and we gave spectators an opportunity to exercise their own need for speed by testing their PS4 gaming skills on Project CARS. Visitors to the stand also walked away with exclusive Falken branded products and discount vouchers that offered them 30% off Falken Tires from leading stores in Morocco.

Another fantastic drift event that only served to fuel our enthusiasm for the next Red Bull Car Park Drift in Jordan on October 14. It’s taking place at Expo Land, Airport Road, Amman and we can’t wait to see you all there.
