Falken Tires thrills racing fans at Red Bull Car Park Drift in Cairo

There was definitely no slowdown in the action as Red Bull Car Park Drift moved to Cairo. The third event of the 2018 series once again had the crowd on their edge of their seats, and Falken was there to soak up the atmosphere and add some extra excitement to the day too.

Cairo Festival City Car Park proved the ideal location for the event, and was expertly transformed into a twisted and tricky track. Sixteen of Egypt’s sleekest drifters were initially let loose on the course, each demonstrating their skills in manoeuvring through boxes, gates, spirals and more.

Ultimately, Hisham Al Khateeb proved to have the edge over his rivals and clinched the title of Egypt’s King of Drift in the third and final round. Mohammad Zordok, Ahmed Desouky and Haitham Samir rounded out the top four.

The pulsating action in Cairo wasn’t just generated by the drifters though, fans were also treated to a motorbike stunt display and Falken impressed fans visiting its stand by handing out cool Falken branded goodies. Falken also ensured it was an unforgettable day for several spectators who received free passes to the event from us. And one even luckier Falken Facebook follower got a VIP experience and the ride of his life, taking a spin around the track with drift legend Abdo Feghali.

Doha is the next stop for Red Bull Car Park Drift, and we can’t wait to see what Qatar’s leading drifters have in store. The event at Losail Circuit Sports Club will be firing from 7pm and we’ll be there to enjoy the action. See you there!
