Falken Tyres sets pulses racing at the Red Bull Car Park Drift in Kuwait City

Rubber-burning action met nail-biting tension as over 2,500 motorheads cheered their hearts out at the Red Bull Car Park Drift in Kuwait. Fueled with excitement, Falken Tyres added more to every moment, as fans watched the savviest drivers compete to become the 2019 Kuwait King of Drift.

What started off as a clash between 14 drifters on a track designed by the legendary Abdo Feghali, quickly turned into an edge-to-edge competition between four top challengers. In the final round, Fahad Al Jedei, Abdulhadi Hjailan, Saad Al Foudari, and Mohammed Abdulrazzaq went all-in to claim the crown.

The judging panel comprised of top motorsport and drifting experts including Fouad Abu Arja, experienced motorsports organizer, Mishari Al Sabti, International Relations manager at BMRC, and Issam Al Najadi, rally veteran. These astute burnout masters not only judged these finalists on their drifting skills, but even finer details like car looks, car sound and tyre smoke were accounted for.

Ultimately, Fahad Al Jadei was awarded the winning title. He scored an unbelievable 270 points and will go on to represent Kuwait at the Series Final in September against aggressive competition from 11 other country-champions.

To add to the excitement, Falken caught the fans’ attention with the Falken Photography Contest. Shutterbugs, who couldn’t resist capturing their drifting stars in action, were rewarded with exciting Auto1 Falken vouchers. But before the smoke settles and tracks clear out, drift-lovers are already prepping up for the upcoming Red Bull Car Park Drift in Cairo this February.
