Falken Tyres drifts into the spotlight at the Red Bull Car Park Drift World Final in Istanbul

Mesmerizing fans at Kuwait City to captivating audience of every age in Istanbul, the Red Bull Car Park Drift delivered a breathtaking close at the World Final 2019. It was an action-packed day with uniquely mesmerizing shows that kept pulses running. When the talented finalists weren’t entertaining the crowd with their skills, the legendary Abdo Feghali kept rubber burning with amazing stunt performances in his drift car specially fit with Falken tyres.

To complement Feghali’s showmanship, judges Mad Mike and Alexander Grinchuk also joined his show. And to pump up an audience already on the edge of their seats, Birkan Polat encored with a stimulating segment of incredible acrobatic skills on his motorcycle.

With an excellent panel of judges including, Mad Mike, Alexander Grinchuk, Nicolas Dufour and Yagiz Avci, all 20 racers from 17 nationalities were put to test based on their excellent performances. While the competition ran neck-to-neck, Anas El Helou took home the title. İbrahim Yücebaş came in second and Vakhtang Khursidze, third.

The Red Bull Car Park Drift has seen Falken Tyres as a headline partner in the Middle East and North Africa since 2016 which not only included tyre sponsorships for racers and shows but also a series of popular activations like online contests, merchandise distribution, discount coupons etc. at the Falken booth and on its digital platforms. After a year four-year, high-octane journey with Red Bull, Falken shall conclude its sponsorship in 2020 and look towards other exciting global partners to connect with the audience in the region.
